Semarang, May 22, 2025 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Diponegoro University, through the Department of Public Administration, organized an Intensive Workshop on Writing Review Article Drafts (RAR). This workshop was specifically designed for Master’s and Doctoral students to enhance their ability to write high-quality review articles ready for publication in accredited academic journals.

The event took place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 08.30 to 12.00 WIB at the Public Policy and Organizational Management Laboratory, FISIP Campus, Tembalang. The workshop featured experienced speaker Ali Roziqin, M.PA, Head of the Government Science Laboratory at Muhammadiyah University of Malang. The event was opened with welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Hartuti Purnaweni, MPA, as the organizer.

The core session included material presentation by Ali Roziqin, M.PA, focusing on the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), bibliometric analysis approach, and the stages of writing an article up to its publication. The workshop participants actively engaged in hands-on practice using VOSviewer and RStudio software, guided directly by the speaker to better understand the bibliometric method.

The organizing team was led by Prof. Dr. Hartuti Purnaweni, MPA, with Nilam Adini Rakhma, M.A.P. as team member. Together, they ensured the smooth and successful execution of the workshop.

Participants gained practical knowledge on writing high-quality scientific review articles, received direct mentoring from an expert in the field, and experienced interactive discussion and software practice. Additionally, this workshop served as a strategic platform for academic networking among postgraduate students within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University.
