Master of Public Administration to Hold Visiting Lecturer, Rethinking Collaboration and Partnership: A Public Policy Perspective

Semarang (18/10) – Master of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro has just held a Visiting Lecturer activity with the theme Rethinking Collaboration and Partnership: A Public Policy Perspective. The activity, which took place on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, was carried out through a Zoom meeting and was attended by the Chairperson of the Master of Public Administration Study Program, Dr. Augustin Rina Herawati, M.Si and Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol. admin. Meanwhile, the speaker at this Visiting Lecturer was Dr Adrian Campbell from the University of Birmingham.

In her speech, Rina said that the Visiting Lecturer program was intended to improve the quality and quantity in various academic fields, especially research, teaching, and innovation. According to her, this was also related to the vision of Universitas Diponegoro in achieving its goal as a ‘World Class University’ through improving its academic reputation as measured by international recognition of Undip lecturers and researchers, as well as Undip’s international network.

Furthermore, Campbell in his material explained how collaboration and partnership became solutions to public administration in relation to organizational problems, and how both of them make public administration more balanced.
