The Public Administration Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Malikussaleh held a studium generale with the theme ” The Shift in Public Administration Theory” which took place in Cut Meutia Hall, Bukit Indah campus, Lhokseumawe, Friday (12/5/2023).

The studium generale presented a speaker from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro Semarang (UNDIP), Dr. Hardi Warsono MT. There were also the Dean of Unimal’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Dr Nazaruddin, vice deans, heads of departments, lecturers, and also hundreds of students of Unimal’s Public Administration Study Program and Master of Public Administration.

Dean of Unimal’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Dr. Nazaruddin said, this studium generale aimed to gain knowledge related to theories in the field of public administration. “Maybe there are some of our students who are not so concerned about this field of study, but with this studium generale, they will definitely find new knowledge and gain insight regarding the theory,” he said.

Nazaruddin also mentioned that this studium generale was not only attended by undergraduate students but also Master of Public Administration (S2) students. Tomorrow Saturday (13/5/2023), Dr. Hardi Warsono will also give a lecture in the MAP class with the theme “Bureaucratic Reform”.

“We hope that we can understand what we get today very well and that our knowledge can be useful not only for ourselves but also for all mankind,” he said.

The activity which was opened by Aflia Riski MAP was continued with the delivery of material which was guided by Ferizaldi MSi as the moderator.[tmi]
