Semarang, 29 October 2025 – Diponegoro University students have once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. Hafids Haryonno, a student of the Master of Public Administration program, has been successfully selected as the Bank Indonesia Communication Ambassador for 2025.
The Preparation and Selection for the 2025 Bank Indonesia Communication Ambassador was organized by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of Central Java Province on 17–18 October 2025 at Gumaya Tower Hotel, Semarang. This activity aimed to strengthen public communication capacity among students and broaden understanding of Bank Indonesia’s role and policies in maintaining national economic stability.
Through this program, Bank Indonesia seeks to develop central banking literacy and strengthen the network of young academics as strategic partners in policy dissemination and public education throughout Central Java.
Hafids Haryonno’s selection as a Bank Indonesia Communication Ambassador followed a rigorous process including material briefings, communication skills assessments, and comprehension tests on Bank Indonesia policies. In his role as Communication Ambassador, Hafids is expected to actively participate in disseminating understanding of Bank Indonesia’s policies and strengthening economic and financial literacy within the community.
As a follow-up to the activity, on 22 October 2025, the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of Central Java Province held the Bank Indonesia Communication and Education Roadshow (REKOMENDASI), featuring the selected Communication Ambassadors as speakers. During the event, Hafids Haryonno had the opportunity to present on the topic “Digitalization of Payment Systems,” highlighting the importance of digital transformation in supporting national economic efficiency and inclusivity.
“The opportunity to become a Bank Indonesia Communication Ambassador is a valuable experience that connects students with the world of public policy and the national economy. Hopefully, this role can strengthen the contribution of young academics in expanding the community’s economic literacy,” said Hafids.
The participation of Undip students in this activity is tangible evidence of Diponegoro University’s commitment to fostering an innovative, collaborative, and nationally-minded spirit among its students.
