Semarang, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 — In an effort to enhance digital literacy skills among coastal communities, the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Diponegoro University, held a community service activity in Turusgede Village, Rembang Regency.
The event carried the theme “Socialization of the Four Pillars of Digital Literacy to Strengthen Digital Literacy in the Coastal Community of Turusgede Village, Rembang Regency”, focusing on four main aspects: digital skill, digital culture, digital ethics, and digital safety.
The program was officially opened by the Head of Turusgede Village, Mr. Sutikno, and was attended by representatives of the village’s youth organization (Karang Taruna) and the Family Welfare Movement (PKK).
The activity was led by the Head of the Department of Public Administration, Dr. A.P. Tri Yuniningsih, M.Si, with participation from faculty members Drs. Ari Subowo, MA and Teuku Afrizal, SE, M.Env.Mgt, Ph.D. The main speaker was Mrs. Dewi Amanatun Suryani, S.IP., MPA., a doctoral student of Public Administration at FISIP UNDIP.
The program was supported by postgraduate student Rizki Hidayati, S.A.P., M.A.P., as well as undergraduate student team members Muthia Fakhira, Faizal Aji Bimantoro, and eight other undergraduate students from Rembang.
Through this community service initiative, it is hoped that the residents of Turusgede Village will be empowered with improved digital skills and cultivate a positive digital culture in their daily lives.
