Dr. Lanita Winata from Griffith University Serves as a Visiting Lecturer at FISIP Undip: Highlights Governance and Institutional Sustainability

Semarang, October 1, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) has once again held a Visiting Lecturer program, featuring an international expert to strengthen academic collaboration and enrich the insights of its academic community. The event, centered on the theme “Sustainable and Organizational Performance,” was conducted in a hybrid format, taking place at the FISIP Undip Diponegoro Muda Hall and via the Zoom Meeting platform.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Lanita Winata, MBA, BCom ACC (Hons), CPAA, from Griffith University, Australia. She discussed sustainable organizational performance in tackling global challenges and how governance practices can foster institutional sustainability across sectors.

The event commenced with opening remarks from Dr. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, the Dean of FISIP Undip, and Prof. Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, M.T., the Chair of the Academic Expertise Cluster (Kelompok Bidang Keilmuan / KBK). Both emphasized the critical importance of enhancing academic capacity, research, and international networks for the future development of FISIP Undip.

This Visiting Lecturer session also involved members of the Public Sector Collaboration Academic Expertise Cluster, including Dr. Dra. Retno Sunu Astuti, M.Si.; Irfan Murtadho Yusuf, S.A.P., MPM; Mochamad Rizki Firianto, M.A.P.; and Juang Abdi Muhammad, S.A.P., M.A.P.

The Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Teguh Yuwono, stated that this initiative reflects the Faculty’s commitment to providing internationally-oriented learning and strengthening the university’s academic reputation on a global scale. “By inviting a distinguished speaker from a world-renowned university, we hope that our students, lecturers, and researchers can broaden their perspectives, enhance the quality of their research, and strengthen cross-border academic networks,” he said.

The event was attended by enthusiastic students, lecturers, and practitioners from various institutions who actively participated in an interactive discussion session. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in a direct dialogue with the speaker regarding sustainability practices and organizational performance improvement in both the public and private sectors.

Through this Visiting Lecturer program, FISIP Undip reaffirms its role as a higher education institution that not only focuses on national academic development but also strengthens its contributions on an international scale.***
