Semarang, May 14, 2025 — To strengthen academic insight and student understanding on issues of climate governance and public service values, the Public Administration Department of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Diponegoro University held an online Visiting Lecturer event on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM (WIB).

The event carried the theme “Public Services Values in the Context of Climate Governance, Deliberative Capacity in Response to Climate Crisis”, and featured Novieta Hardeani Sari, Ph.D from Newcastle University, United Kingdom, as the guest lecturer.

The session began with an opening remark by Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, Dean of FISIP UNDIP. The discussion was enriched by two distinguished discussants from the Public Administration Department: Prof. Dr. Dra. Endang Larasati, MS and Dr. Dra. Augustin Rina Herawati, M.Si.. The event was moderated by Mohammad Nurul Huda, S.A.P., MPA.

Through this lecture, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of public service values in climate policy and the development of deliberative capacity in addressing the global climate crisis.
